Are you a visionary leader with experience leading a team through change? Do you have a knack for breaking down complicated topics to be more understandable for your customers? And speaking of customers, is creating a great customer experience always your top priority?
If you answered ‘yes’ to all of those questions, we want to hear from you. We’re looking for an experienced leader with the ambition and drive to take on the role of Vice President, Licensing, Customer and Vehicle Services in Regina. The future of automotive insurance and vehicle registration is on the verge of a significant shift that will need to consider things like autonomous vehicles, ridesharing services and usage-based insurance. This is your opportunity to play a key role in leading SGI into the future by helping define the strategies and regulations that will effectively respond to the changes technology is bringing to our industry.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, Auto Fund, you’ll bring your energy and determination to develop and oversee the direction of Saskatchewan’s motor licence issuing services, commercial carrier safety and International Registration Plan (IRP) programs, vehicle standards and inspection programs, vehicle registration and permit programs and the customer service centre.
If you’re committed to an outstanding customer experience and you’re a strategic and engaging senior leader with outstanding people and communication skills, you should definitely think about getting in touch. Add in the know how to create an environment that allows employees to give their best in the midst of a dynamic and evolving work environment, you’ll be sure to get our attention. If you have first-hand expertise dealing with automotive insurance, driver licensing and vehicle registration and the legislation and regulations that govern our operations, well, what are you waiting for?
You’ll need an in-depth understanding of Saskatchewan’s motor vehicle registration and driver licensing systems, applicable acts and regulations, and the broader automotive insurance industry including public, private and commercial transportation. You should also possess a master’s degree in business administration, public administration or public policy, as well as at least eight years of management experience with increasing responsibility managing a large group of employees. An alternative combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
Because when you start here, you want to stay here. We offer a wide range of benefits and invest in career development to meet the needs of our employees. We embrace diversity, recognizing and celebrating our differences and our similarities. With careers as diverse as our employees, join our caring culture of employee empowerment within a great community of people.
