MicroAge is hiring a Modern Workplace and Cloud Specialist

MicroAge requires a highly motivated team player with an amazing phone presence to join our technical team. As a part of the Modern Workplace Team, you will report to the Service Business Manager.â€¯

What we need you to do

Support a growing client base utilizing state of the art remote access tools

Be the Subject Matter Expert for M365 security suite and supporting technologies on the M365 Platform Team
Leverage extensive knowledge of M365 and EM+S products, solutions and methodologies to engineer, design and make technical recommendations on M365 Modern Workplace, Security, and Compliance initiatives for the company
Engineer, design and make technical recommendations on Microsoft 365 policies, groups and licensing
Contribute to technical design sessions and prepare technical design documentation for architectural review
Employ an approach that utilizes repeatable, efficient processes, automation and best practices

Enjoy documenting all tasks and work completed
Working daily in Active Directory administration and management with a drive towards Azure AD
Be familiar with and be able to work remotely when required using N-Able, RDP, VPN technology
Troubleshoot and solve problems using a combination of experience and resources
Work well within a team environment

Required experience:

Bachelorâ€™s degree in Information Technology, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering or related field
10+ years Information Technology experience or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated hands-on experience administering and supporting Office/M365 platform technologies such as: Exchange, OneDrive, Windows 10, Office/Enterprise Apps, Outlook, Teams, End Point Management/Intune, Power Platform and SharePoint Online
2+ years of experience with M365 security suite capabilities such as Conditional Access, Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Windows Defender ATP, Compliance Center, Insider Threat Management, MCAS, DLP ATP, AIP, EOP, MFA, PIM etc.
Strong PowerShell scripting experience required

Must have one or more of the following exams;

AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals

MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
MS-100 Microsoft 365 Identity and Services
MS-101 Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security
MS-500 Microsoft 365 Security Administration

Hours/Availability:â€¯Monday to Friday 8:30-5:00 (may require work in the evenings/Saturday/Sunday)

Must have a valid license and access to a reliable vehicle
