We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Driver/Owner Operator to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight across various routes CANADA/USA LONG HAUL AND REGIONAL WORK , ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight over long or short distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Load, secure, and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring cargo integrity and safety
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to minimize downtime and ensure vehicle reliability
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling to prevent accidents or damage
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 1 license
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures including loading, securing, and unloading cargo
- Experience with automotive repair or basic vehicle maintenance is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and transportation industry standards
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service

Pay: $78,557.05-$187,158.04 per year
