Proposal Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Proposal Coordinator. Reporting to Hanscomb’s Director of Marketing, you will collaborate with a team of professionals and regional managers to prepare clear and convincing responses to requests for information and proposals and support the firm’s marketing and business development activities.
What you’ll do!
- Analyze proposal documents and identify all requirements to ensure proposal compliance.
- Coordinate the proposal process from beginning to end.
- Write and edit proposal sections, including but not limited to executive summaries, project descriptions, qualification summaries, and resumes.
- Develop, update and maintain data for proposals, such as resumes, project pages, images, references, etc., for use in future proposal responses.
- Other duties as required, including new bid opportunity searching and distribution.
About you!
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in communications is preferred, and or experience in the areas of professional writing, business administration or other education deemed equivalent.
- Strong technical writing skills, including copywriting, editing, grammar, style, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading skills.
- Flexible and open to changing priorities, multi-tasking, and meeting deliverables within compressed time frames while maintaining accuracy.
- Proactive and willing to take the initiative with great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-versed with Microsoft Office.
- Experienced in the construction industry and the development of proposals are preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to create captivating proposal responses and reports using Adobe Creative Suite would be considered a benefit.
- Experience with business-focused social media would be considered an asset.
