We are looking for an Oracle Fusion ERP Functional Analyst to support a dynamic insurance organization in Toronto, Ontario. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who can strengthen day-to-day ERP operations, partner with business teams, and drive practical improvements across Oracle Fusion Financials. The successful candidate will help ensure the platform performs reliably, supports efficient finance processes, and continues to deliver strong value to the business.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver ongoing functional support for Oracle Fusion Financials and respond to operational issues in a timely manner.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and coordinate effective resolutions for system defects and end-user concerns.
- Monitor, organize, and address support requests through ServiceNow while balancing urgency and business impact.
- Work with stakeholders to capture business needs and convert them into well-defined functional recommendations and system enhancements.
- Adjust and maintain Oracle Fusion configurations to align with evolving business and operational requirements.
- Partner with finance teams, business users, and technical specialists to improve workflows and resolve cross-functional issues.
- Take part in Agile planning sessions, backlog activities, and delivery discussions using Jira.
- Ensure updates are properly documented, validated through testing, and deployed in line with established standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and expand effective use of Oracle Fusion across finance operations.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Functional Analyst role supporting Oracle Fusion environments.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials, with experience across multiple finance-related modules.
- Demonstrated background supporting production environments with a high volume of transactions or user activity.
- Experience with finance processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, or Financial Operations.
- Proficiency using ServiceNow, Jira, and Agile delivery practices in a business-facing support environment.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and confidence working with a range of stakeholders.
- Previous experience in insurance, banking, accounting, finance, or another financial services setting is considered an asset.
- Oracle Fusion certification, accounting education, or bilingual French and English communication skills would be viewed favourably.
