What you will do:
Prepare journal entries to record monthly transactions in a timely manner for the monthly general ledger (G/L) close processes.
Complete monthly GL account reconciliations and monthly variance analysis of corporate results.
Record various transactional activities including treasury/finance, corporate operating, and administrative expenses.
Responsible for the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial information and internal variance analysis reporting relating to the Corporate lines of business.
Work closely with team members in finding opportunities for improvement in execution to increase timeliness and efficiency.
Provide hands on assistance to the internal and external auditors, including the collection and analysis of supporting documents requested.
Who you are:
You have an Undergraduate Degree in Commerce, Business or related.
You have 2 or more years of accounting/finance related experience.
Experience with Oracle Financials / Hyperion Financial Management / SmartView / Essbase would be an asset.
Working towards a professional accounting designation or with CPA designation.
Solid understanding of US GAAP & Internal Control Principles.
Excellent computer skills including a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel).
You have organizational skills and the ability to manage several project deadlines concurrently.
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills combined with a results-oriented business approach.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
