Annual Salary: Ranges from $55,000 to $75,000

D&H Group LLP is seeking Articling Students to join our Firm in January 2027. At D&H, you will gain hands-on experience across all areas of public accounting, including preparing individual, corporate, and trust tax returns, handling files from start to finish, and supporting assurance engagements as part of a team. You’ll be involved in the full process of assignments, giving you practical experience that supports both your professional development and CPA studies.
We also understand the importance of balancing work with your CPA studies. During busy periods, we monitor overtime and workloads to help maintain a manageable schedule. Students receive study time off to prepare for exams, as well as CPA Fridays off while working through the CPA modules. Our goal is to provide the experience, support, and flexibility you need to succeed throughout your articling journey.
- Work across assurance, compilation, and tax engagements for private companies and not-for-profit organizations, gaining exposure to a variety of clients, industries, and engagement types
- Prepare financial statements, working papers, supporting schedules, and tax filings, including individual, corporate, and trust tax returns, with support from experienced team members
- Work with clients and engagement teams to request information, clarify details, address questions, and support the completion of assignments
- Develop technical knowledge by applying relevant accounting and tax standards, reviewing financial information, and participating in client meetings, file reviews, coaching, and debriefs
- Manage assigned files, tasks, and deadlines while collaborating with your team and gaining exposure to the full engagement process from planning through completion
- Eligible to enroll in CPA PEP before starting employment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-focused and client-service environment
