We are looking for a professional, dedicated, creative and energetic individual to become an integral member of our high-performance Team of Energy Marketers and inside sales representatives by assisting in managing our ever-growing book of small and medium business customers.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Business Sales Optimization the Inside Sales Support Representative is responsible for providing sales and customer support to the Business Energy Sales Team and Regional Sales Manager, through administrating our CRM (SalesForce) and ensuring that customer requests and inquiries are handled in a professional and timely manner.
On a daily basis, you’ll…
- Assist with incoming inquiries and process customer requests
- Provide administrative support to the Regional Sales Manager & Supervisor, Business Sales Optimization
- Support the outside sales team with any requests or enquiries
- Act as data steward for our CRM to ensure customer account accuracy
- Collect customer information in order to process enrollments
- Be dedicated to continuous process improvement and bring forward ideas to create efficiencies
- Have ability to adapt to changing requirements and provide the necessary support
- Have knowledge of or willingness to learn the Rumi/ATCO Energy process and systems
- Understand and adhere to Rumi/ATCO Energy policies and procedures
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on the Salesforce CRM
- Update the Salesforce CRM with customer information as required
- Maintain an up-to-date and accurate tracking system to ensure that all parties concerned receive information and account updates in a timely manner
- Perform other related duties as necessary

What you have:
- Minimum diploma or certificate in Business Administration or equivalent experience will be an asset
- A positive, self-motivated and energetic team player attitude with a willingness to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills (oral and written), time management, and interpersonal skills
- Detail orientated with strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Previous work experience in a customer facing environment
- Possess an understanding of the principles, methods, and strategies used for promotion, sales, and business development
- High proficiency in MS office; including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with a Sales based CRM, specifically Salesforce is preferred
- High standards of discretion, ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive corporate and personal information and matters
- Ability to exercise good judgement, show initiative and be proactive
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure
