Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Coordinator / Representative to join our growing team at our Truro location. This role is a key connection point across our sales, parts, service, and administrative departments. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for customer service, a working knowledge of equipment, and the organizational skills to keep our sales operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Cold Calls
- Greet and assist walk-in customers, providing a welcoming and knowledgeable first point of contact
- Assist with yard organization and showroom displays to ensure an attractive and well-maintained product presentation
- Prepare, organize, and produce accurate equipment quotes in support of the external sales team
- Attend online dealer meetings and manufacturer product updates to stay current with inventory and promotions
- Serve as a liaison between the Parts Department, Service Department, and Administration to ensure seamless communication and workflow
- Assist customers with equipment load-out, ensuring a safe and professional handover experience
- Manage equipment inventory levels, place reorders, and coordinate annual stock orders as required
- Maintain and update the CRM system to ensure all team members have accurate, up-to-date client and sales information
- Occasional travel may be required for trade shows, dealer events, and team meetings
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous inside sales experience is a strong asset
- Equipment industry experience or product knowledge is a strong asset
- Proficient computer skills including CRM platforms, email, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — both in-person and over the phone
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Self-motivated team player with a professional and positive attitude
- Valid driver's licence (required for occasional travel)
