About the role
As part of the Detection Engineering team, you will be the Senior Product Owner, as well as a SIEM, UEBA Specialist (50% of your time)
Responsibilities:
As a SME and Technical Detection Engineering Advisor, you will:
Provide guidance to the IT security monitoring team by directing technical directions, strategies and guidelines related to IT security monitoring.
Develop and maintain multiple IT security technology platforms: SIEM (e.g. analysis, alert refinement), SOAR and UEBA.
Identify threats and recommend use cases in collaboration with internal incident/threat response teams and implement solution in SIEM, SOAR and UEBA platforms.
As a Senior Product Owner for Detection Engineering, you will:
Be responsible for ensuring that the right products are built in the right order and that the release is developed on time.
Ensure consistency between products: SIEM, SOAR and UEBA plan forms and processes.
In this role, you will manage activities by organizing, planning and controlling the product catalog while aligning with the IT security monitoring roadmap and strategy.
What you need:
Experience working with a SIEM such as Microsoft Sentinel.
Experience in SOAR automation.
Experience in UEBA.
Extensive understanding of Kafka.
Understanding of Linux terminal.
8 to 10 years in cybersecurity or devops or infrastructure team.
At least 3 years of experience in IT Security monitoring (SIEM, SOAR, XDR, TIP, UEBA).
Certified Product Owner (CSPO, PSPO I, PSPO II) will be considered an asset.
Good understanding of the Agile development process and best practices.
Strong analytical, technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
