Branch Manager – Heavy Equipment / Truck Dealership

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy heavy equipment and commercial truck dealership branch in Mississauga. This is a leadership opportunity for a results-driven professional with strong industry experience and a proven ability to build high-performing teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving branch sales and profitability, managing employees, supporting customer relationships, and achieving market share and asset management objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all daily branch operations.
- Drive sales growth, profitability, and overall branch performance.
- Develop strategies to achieve asset management and market share goals.
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop branch employees to build a successful and engaged workforce.
- Foster a customer-focused culture and support long-term customer relationships.
- Monitor market conditions, competitive activity, and emerging business opportunities.
- Provide leadership feedback and recommendations regarding future opportunities and competitive pressures.
- Manage branch accounts receivable in partnership with the credit services team.
- Ensure effective coordination and collaboration across branch departments.
- Promote operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the heavy equipment, commercial truck, or related industry.
- 3–5 years of progressively responsible management or supervisory experience.
- Proven experience leading, motivating, and developing employees.
- Strong understanding of product support and dealership departmental operations.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales, profitability, and operational objectives.
- Strong business judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
- Relevant post-secondary education is considered an asset.
