Line Cook - Good Behaviour
Good Behaviour is looking for a Line Cook to join our kitchen team shops across Toronto.
This role is for someone who cares about people, moves with urgency, stays organized under pressure, and takes pride in creating a great guest experience. We’re looking for someone who can deliver consistently at a high level while contributing to a team culture that values quality, energy, and attention to detail.
What the role looks like
- Prepare and cook menu items with consistency, care and speed
- Execute prep and service tasks across burgers, fries, sides and other kitchen items
- Help maintain strong standards in product quality, build, portioning and presentation
- Support prep work including things like braising, pickling, marinating, butchery and general station preparation
- Keep your station clean, organized, stocked and service-ready
- Work closely with kitchen team to keep service flowing smoothly
- Follow proper food handling, storage, rotation and sanitation procedure
- Support overall kitchen organization, cleanliness and day-to-day efficiency
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience as a line cook in a professional kitchen
- Strong sense of urgency, organization and consistency
- Solid understanding of kitchen fundamentals, prep techniques and station management
- Someone who works well on a team and communicates clearly during service
- Good attention to detail and pride in doing things properly
- Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- At least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen is preferred
