Requirement: Current UHN Healthcare Workers / Retired UHN Healthcare Workers / Retired Healthcare Workers from other Hospitals
Position: Various positions (e.g. Nursing, Allied Health, PCA, Administrative Support)
Reports to: Various team leads
Shifts: All shifts (8 hour/ 12 hour shifts)
Status: Temporary PT & FT (Initial 4 week period with possibility of extension)

TeamUHN is deeply committed to the mission of caring for all our patients, employees and community members in a safe manner. As we prepare to enter a fourth wave of Covid-19, we are looking for qualified people to temporarily assist various areas of UHN. These temporary opportunities are open to all employees clinical and non-clinical (Full-time, Part-time and Casual). Training will be provided and variable shifts are available across all UHN locations.
Clinical experience preferred for some positions but not required for all.
Available for full-time hours per week for an initial period of 4 consecutive weeks, with possibility of extension
Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate may be required for some positions
Must be enthusiastic and engaging with the ability to learn quickly and apply those learnings
Ability to handle occasional to moderate exertion (i.e. constant standing, walking, climbing, reaching, lifting, pushing and frequent movement) on an occasional to frequent basis
Must be eager to engage and promote Covid-19 awareness in an effort to help and protect as many TeamUHN staff, Physicians, Volunteers, Learners and patients as possible.
Note: Training will be provided where required
Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
