As we head into our busiest season, we’re looking for a Seasonal Swamper / Relief Driver to join our Shipping Department and help keep deliveries and operations running safely and efficiently.
About the Position:
- Seasonal role (anticipated for up to 6 months)
- Flexible schedule ranging from 3–5 days per week
- Fast-paced, physically active role supporting peak seasonal volume
- Combination of swamping, loading/unloading, and relief driving responsibilities
- Strong team-oriented environment with a focus on safety and customer service
What You’ll Do:
- Assist drivers with loading, unloading, and delivering building materials and customer orders
- Provide relief delivery driving coverage as operationally required
- Safely transport products to customers and job sites
- Support shipping and yard operations with staging, organizing, and moving materials
- Ensure deliveries are accurate, secure, and completed professionally
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Work closely with the yard and shipping teams to keep product flowing efficiently
Who We’re Looking For:
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence required
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically capable of repetitive lifting and movement (50+ lbs)
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to jump in where needed
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment
- Experience in building materials, shipping, or delivery operations is an asset, but not required
