Summary
We are seeking a Shop Attendant to join our team in Winnipeg. In this role, you will support our operations by maintaining equipment, managing supplies, and assisting with day-to-day shop and yard activities. Your contributions will help ensure our projects run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Report to Shop Mechanic
- Perform basic maintenance on vehicles(oil changes, tire change, etc.)
- Assist mechanic with more complex repairs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area.
- Complete and maintain inventory list of tools, supplies, and materials
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering.
- Support equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Help coordinate logistics for project materials.
- Wash and clean equipment and vehicles
- Pick up materials from suppliers and deliver to crews on job sites as necessary
- Ensure safety protocols are followed within the shop.
- Provide support to team members as needed.
- Delivery fuel to job sites and equipment as necessary
- Qualifications
- Strong mechanical skills
- Valid class 5 drivers license
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to operate equipment such as a skidsteer or loader
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety procedures in a construction environment is preferred.
