Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Indigenous Relations Advisor is responsible for promoting and facilitating partnerships and developing engagement strategies for Norland projects, communities, and indigenous partnerships.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Qualifications & Skills:

Post secondary education in Indigenous Studies, Social Sciences, Communications, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of relevant experience.

5+ years of experience in Indigenous Relations, Community Engagement, Business Development, or a related role.

Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures, communities, histories, and protocols.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong working relationships with both internal teams and external partners.

Experience preparing and working with contracts, supporting negotiations, reviewing financial information, and collaborating across cross functional teams.

High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and accountability.

A positive team attitude and strong work ethic.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 25% throughout western Canada

Experience working on infrastructure projects.
Compensation:
The role is a permanent, full-time position with a typical starting salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per annum. Variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate's qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
