Journeyman Truck and Trailer Technician

What began as a family-run earthworks business has grown into a complete partner specializing in earthworks, underground utilities, foundation excavation, professional trucking, heavy hauling, paint/blast services, and fleet equipment repair.
We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-oriented Journeyman Truck and Trailer Technician to join our growing team of shop technicians. Our Ideal Candidate:

Holds a valid Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician certificate.

Has extensive experience inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing on-road trucks like dump trucks and water trucks, and trailers

Has experience working on both stationary equipment (light plants, water pumps, generators), as well as smaller construction equipment like skid steers

Has experience with diagnostic software like: CAT SIS and ET, Cummins Insight, Detroit DiagnosticLink

Currently holds a CVIP license (considered an asset)

Possesses a valid Class 5 license with air endorsement and a clean driver’s abstract (Class 1 or 3 license is an asset)

Owns their own full set of tools

Is fluent in speaking and writing English

Has their own personal vehicle
Typical Schedule:
-
Monday to Saturday: 10-12 hours per day

Overtime Pay: After 8 hours each day and 44 hours per week
