Our marketing firm needs a professional web designer with experience in designing websites, email newsletters, engaging social media graphics, Adobe Creative Suite and a broad understanding of web languages to take over the graphic and user interface design of our corporate portal, subsidiary product portals and product micro sites. We are looking for a candidate who has created and maintained functional and attractive websites that are optimized for conversion on both desktop and mobile. Jobs Description:
· Utilize expertise of web designing on various content management platforms to translate business needs into user-friendly / high converting pages that will expand the effectiveness of our websites.
· Utilize strong technical design skills to collaborate with web design to determine look and feel of website.
· Working with the marketing teams to establish the look and feel and direction of the site.
· Using product images and sourcing images as required for site - optimizing images for web.
· Manage UAT process for all new site enhancements with cross-functional teams.
· Write and optimize email HTML to ensure good rendering across email clients / mobile. Ensure clear UX and design consistency within brand guidelines
· Create engaging creatives for digital channels such as Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram etc.
· Assess and manage vendor applications/tools to ensure efficient integration within websites structure and/or routine management of vendor tools / plugins.
· Help with other digital tasks as needed.
What we’re looking for:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Graphic Design or related field experience.
· 2 + years with Adobe Creative Suite and other mainstream web/graphic design tools.
· 2+ years with web designing/programming experience with extensive knowledge of HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, Shopify liquid.
· Ability to Design/Develop in a Variety of Platforms: Wordpress, Divi, Shopify, WooCommerce, Etc.
· Extensive experience with creating website mockups and then turning a mockup into a functional website.
· Strong knowledge of User Interface design (UI), User Experience (UX), cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
· Practical knowledge of email designing best practices. Familiarity with responsive design & personalization.
· Experience with A/B testing and personalization experience using tools such as Google Optimize or similar.
· Knowledge of how to build click-funnels landing pages would be an asset.
· Basic understanding of other digital marketing functions and growth levers such as SEO and Paid marketing channels including social for engaging creative development.
· Experience with other tools like Canva, Promo or similar for designing graphics/video editing.
