We are currently looking for a Warehouse Clerk to join our Sussex Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for packaging, preparing, and coordinating of outbound shipments. The position will also be responsible for receiving shipments and coordinating distribution to sales routes, distributing and completing an inventory of goods and contributing to a clean and efficient workspace. Additionally, this role entails regular deep cleaning of the warehouse. Experience with the Microsoft Suite of products is important for the success of this role, as well as experience operating a forklift. Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure proper and safe shipping of customer orders in an accurate and timely manner
- Receiving and verify packaging, ingredients, etc. being sent out or received
- Maintain paperwork in a neat and organized manner
- Be customer oriented on the phone, to fellow employees and in the warehouse
- Complete monthly inventory counts and prepare necessary reports
- Keep warehouse organized and safe
- Perform all work in a safe manner, following all health and safety operating procedures
- Manage waste products and coordinating of shipping waste out of facility
- Monitor reefer trailers and/or other third-party storage as needed
- Putting and pulling product into/out of freezer and dating of products
- Sorting donuts, breads and baked goods by route and loading trailers with products
- Empty Cardboard baler and ship out cardboard bales
- Maintain program backups for control system programmable devices such as controllers and touch screen displays.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
