Eagles Landing Animal Hospital is an AAHA certified small animal clinic located in Vaughan and we are looking to expand our team again as we continue to grow.
We are hiring for a part time Client Communication Specialist / Veterinary Assistant with shifts including days and evenings, with occasional Saturdays for a total of 25-30 consistent hours/shifts per week.
This position requires the candidate to be familiar with veterinary medicine!
Our Client Communication Specialist is the first person the client comes in contact with and requires the perfect person. The receptionist duties include: phone calls, maintaining the front desk, and checking in appointments; all while being the first line of communication between the client and the clinic.
Additional duties include kennel and clinic husbandry and assisting the doctor and/or registered veterinary technicians (eg. patient restraint) as needed as a veterinary assistant.
We practice high end medicine with a strong focus on patient care and client communication. We have great pride in our clinic and our staff and so the ideal candidate should be confident, outgoing, personable, trustworthy and works well as part of a team as well as independently.
Knowledge of AVImark is an asset however we can help teach this as long as the basics are understood. Experience with companion animals IN A CLINIC SETTING is a must for the position!
