Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and organized part-time Operations Manager to support the day-to-day management of our home care agency.
This is a part time position, with the opportunity to turn into full time.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator with experience in healthcare administration, team coordination, or a related field, and will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations across scheduling, client relations, and staff management..
Duties
- Oversee daily scheduling and coordination of caregivers and client visits
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, families, and caregivers to address needs and concerns
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employment documentation for new staff
- Monitor compliance with agency policies, Alberta health regulations, and program requirements (including CDHCI)
- Support billing, invoicing, and basic administrative functions
- Maintain accurate client and employee records
- Assist with marketing initiatives and community outreach as needed
- Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a home care, healthcare, or administrative management role is an asset but not required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with using scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and/or Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
- Knowledge of Alberta's home care programs and regulations is an asset
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Shift Schedule -
Monday-Friday - 4 hours per day
