Automotive Detailer/Lot Attendant at Biswas Auto, New Westminster
Position: Automotive Detailer/Lot AttendantLocation: BiswasAuto, New WestminsterPay: Negotiable, starting at $18 an hour
Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean and detail vehicles to meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Vacuum, shampoo, and steam clean carpets and upholstery.
- Wash, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors.
- Clean and polish windows, mirrors, and chrome trim.
- Apply protectants to vinyl or leather surfaces.
- Remove debris and trash from vehicles.
- Inspect vehicles for damages or defects and report any issues.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Move cars within the lot and ensure proper organization.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on detailing equipment.
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the dealership.
Experience:
- Required: Prior experience in automotive detailing.
- Preferred: Experience in a dealership or high-volume environment.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products and techniques.
- Proficiency in operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, and pressure washers.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
Skills:
- Exceptional customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
- Effective communication skills with customers and coworkers.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred.
