About the Role
CBS is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as a Housekeeping Attendants at a CN rail yard in Prince Rupert, BC.
The role involves cleaning and performing housekeeping duties in a bunkhouse facility within the rail yard.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms and common areas within the bunkhouse, including entrances, hallways, lounges, and offices
- Perform laundry duties, including stripping, washing, drying, and folding linens and towels
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, including sinks, mirrors, counters, toilets, and showers
- Clean and sanitize kitchen area, including counters, cabinets, appliances, tables, and chairs
- Replenish toiletries, paper products, soap, and other supplies
- Dust and disinfect all surfaces, fixtures, and furniture
- Sweep, mop, and/or vacuum all floors within the bunkhouse
- Empty waste and recycling bins
- Assist with periodic deep cleaning tasks as required
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial services is strongly preferred
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, reaching, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Must consent to a criminal background check

- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
- Understanding of sanitation and workplace safety standards
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Basic computer skills
Position & Schedule
Full-Time (Bunkhouse)
- 5 days per week: Monday to Friday
- Overnight shift: 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM
- Total: 40 hours per week
On-Call (Bunkhouse)
Various shifts offered as needed based on operational requirements and employee availability:
- Monday to Sunday
- Day: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Evening: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Overnight: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

- Training will be provided, including onsite training and online training modules
