Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored tutoring sessions either online or in person in multiple subjects, including Math, English, Social, History, ESL .
- Develop customized lesson plans that cater to each student’s unique learning style and goals.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and motivation.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure continuous improvement.
- Support students with homework, exam preparation, and skill-building exercises.
- Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
- Create engaging educational materials that enhance the learning experience and promote active participation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children, young learners, and or adults in an educational or tutoring setting.
- Strong proficiency in English, additional language skills are a plus.
- Excellent writing skills to develop clear lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Demonstrated classroom experience or tutoring experience that showcases your ability to teach effectively.
- Passion for education with the ability to motivate students of diverse backgrounds.
- Effective communication skills in both verbal and written formats.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and learning styles.
