Lead Service Technician
We are seeking a skilled Lead Technician to join our team. The Lead Technician will be responsible for overseeing a team of service technicians, ensuring the successful completion of projects, and maintaining high-quality standards. This position requires strong leadership skills and technical expertise working with industrial machinery specifically rotating equipment; pumps; compressors or industrial vacuum systems.
Duties:
· Supervise and coordinate the activities of technicians.
· Assess the needs of the clients to be done, plan/coordinate the service repairs, service calls and service contracts.
· Be involved in inventory/shipping/receiving activities to with support from the Inventory Supervisor/dept.
· Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
· Inspect work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
· Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions.
· Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
· Train new technicians on processes and procedures
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Lead/Supervisor type with some experience as a Technician or related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Technical certification or relevant degree preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00 per year
