Green Bay Infrastructure Group is hiring experienced Class 1 Transport Truck Drivers for work based in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Drivers will complete routes throughout the province, with possible long-haul assignments to various locations across Atlantic and Central Canada. We are looking for dependable, safety-focused professionals who take pride in operating responsibly, protecting equipment and cargo, and delivering reliable service.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailer units on provincial and interprovincial routes
- Transport equipment, materials, and other cargo as assigned
- Complete thorough pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and transported safely
- Maintain accurate electronic logs, inspection reports, bills of lading and other required documentation
- Comply with federal and provincial hours-of-service requirements
- Follow all transportation, safety, weight and load-securement regulations
- Plan routes and adjust appropriately for weather, traffic and road conditions
- Identify mechanical or safety concerns and report required repairs promptly
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, supervisors, customers and site personnel
- Keep assigned vehicles clean, organized and in safe operating condition
- Support loading and unloading activities when required
Qualifications
- Previous professional tractor-trailer driving experience is required
- Valid Newfoundland and Labrador Class 1 driver’s licence
- Valid Class 09 Air Brake endorsement
- Clean driver’s abstract acceptable to the company and its insurer
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations, hours of service and electronic logging devices
- Knowledge of cargo securement, vehicle weights, and inspection requirements
- Ability to complete provincial and interprovincial routes safely and efficiently
- Ability to work independently and manage changing schedules, road conditions, and delivery requirements
- Strong communication, judgment, and time-management skills
- Willingness to travel and remain away from home when assigned to long-haul routes
- Experience with equipment hauling, flatbeds, or oversized loads is considered an asset
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods, first aid, and other relevant safety certifications are considered assets
Successful applicants must be able to meet all company, regulatory, and insurance requirements associated with commercial vehicle operation.
Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour
