Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Vape Associate to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service to customers, managing retail sales, and maintaining an organized and engaging store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, and have experience in retail, hospitality, or related fields. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail setting focused on vaping products and accessories.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting vaping products, accessories, and related merchandise
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to enhance customer experience
- Manage cashiering duties including cash handling, POS transactions, and basic math calculations
- Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure stock levels are adequate
- Operate computer systems for inventory management, filing, and record keeping
- Handle customer inquiries both in person and via communication channels in multiple languages (English, French, or other)
- Support store organization through filing and organizational tasks
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to engage with diverse clientele
- Uphold store standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and basic computer operation skills
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities such as French or other languages are a plus
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or hospitality is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (merchandise handling)
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Bilingual or multilingual skills highly desirable for serving diverse customers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills
- Prior experience with POS systems and cash handling is advantageous

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
