Auto Glass Installer / Apprentice — Full-Time, Local, Hands-On Work

Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM | No weekends
Scotia Auto Glass is hiring a full-time Auto Glass Installer / Apprentice for mobile windshield replacement, stone chip repair, vehicle preparation, and daily van organization.
This is hands-on work with vehicles, tools, glass, and customers. We are looking for someone dependable, careful, and willing to learn the trade properly.
You do not need years of auto glass experience to apply. Experience in auto glass, automotive work, body shop work, construction, maintenance, mechanical work, or another hands-on trade is helpful.
What matters most is that you are reliable, on time, good with your hands, and willing to follow a process.
Important before applying

- Live within reasonable daily driving distance of Lunenburg or Bridgewater
- Have a valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Have reliable transportation to get to work every day
- Can work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Are comfortable with occasional day travel to HRM
- Can lift and handle auto glass safely
- Are dependable and show up on time
This is not a relocation role, not a casual labour job, and not a short-term position.
What you’ll do
- Assist with windshield removals and installations
- Help with stone chip repairs
- Prepare tools, glass, primers, urethane, and materials
- Protect customer vehicles before and during the job
- Remove and reinstall parts such as wipers, trim, mouldings, and cowl panels
- Keep the work van clean and organized
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Use a phone or mobile device for job notes, photos, and work communication
- Learn proper auto glass installation procedures over time

Auto glass work requires care. A rushed or careless job can damage a customer’s vehicle, create leaks, or create safety problems. We take that seriously.
Pay and schedule
Pay: $19–$24 per hour, depending on experience
Retention bonus: $1,500 may be available for the right full-time hire
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: Lunenburg / Bridgewater area, with occasional HRM support
Work type: Mobile auto glass service
The retention bonus is paid in stages after successful completion of probation and continued employment. Eligibility is based on attendance, reliability, performance, maintaining a valid driver’s licence, and being in good standing at the time of payout.

Auto glass experience is preferred but not required for the right person.
