Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and packages to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Verify delivery orders and ensure accuracy of shipments before departure.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Assist with the operation of heavy equipment or commercial driving tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving, freight handling, or heavy equipment operation preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery is a plus.
- Basic automotive repair knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting vehicle issues.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in verifying shipments.
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight delivery schedules.
- Ability to lift heavy packages and work in physically demanding environments.

Pay: $35,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
