Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer/Shipper/Receiver to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various roles in the plant as directed by Superivisor and a range of manual tasks. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Shipping and Receving will also be a funciton of this role. Strong experience with this function.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipmen from trucks mainly steel
- Perform receiving duties, verify stock, verify paperwork
- Operate simple machinery or tools under supervision when required
- Ensure work areas are safe and hazard-free throughout the shift
Experience
- Prior experience is required for the shipping and receiving function
- Ability to perform physical labor consistently and safely
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team
- Good communication skills and reliability are essential
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour
