About the Role
North Coast Excavation and Trucking Ltd. is seeking a skilled and dependable Bobcat Operator to join our growing team in Calgary. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating skid steer loaders on residential construction projects, including basement backfill, rough grading, and site preparation.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate skid steers (Bobcats) on residential job sites
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Complete basement backfills, final grades, and general site prep work
- Assist with material loading, hauling, and placement as needed
- Follow safety protocols, site plans, and supervisor directions
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Bobcat/skid steer operating experience in residential construction
- Proven experience with basement backfill and grading (required)
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
