Shield K9 is a kennel and training facility that provides training to the public as well as the sale of puppies and trained dogs for private security and law enforcement.
We are looking for 2 Kennel techs to join our ever growing team. The ideal candidate has related experience and is reliable and is willing to work with large potentially aggressive dogs.
Must also have a G class driver's license.
Duties include:
- Feeding and caring for the dogs
- Cleaning kennels and training facility
- Maintaining the grounds
- Duties as required
- Experience with horses is a plus
Potential for future TRAINER position (competitive pay based on skill and experience) for suitable individuals.
Currently we have 1 FT, 1 PT position 40 hours per week with PAID breaks. Must be able to work one weekend day a week!
Pay starts at 18 per hour and goes up quickly when competence is demonstrated.
Start as a contractor with the option to go payroll once the probationary period is completed.
