QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
Journeyman or registered apprentice status in the Instrument Technician trade is an asset
Previous experience in a related manufacturing or field construction/service environment
Ability to read and interpret design drawings (P&ID, ISO, GA, etc.)
Experience with tube bending and the installation of pressure fittings, instruments, and devices is greatly valued
RESPONSIBILITIES
Fabricate, assemble and install project components following applicable design drawings, BOMs, client specifications, regulatory codes, and industry/trade best practices
Always verify project materials against approved drawings/BOMs/specifications to ensure correct part# and product characteristics before installation
Ensure all workmanship meets established quality standards and immediately report all sub-standard work, component discrepancies or non-conformances to supervisor
Complete project-specific design layouts and material take-offs as requested
Submit project material requisitions as required (instruments/devices, fittings, tubing, brackets, tags, etc.)
Ensure the effective organization, storage, handling, and traceability of project materials
Keep personal work area, materials, and tools clean and organized to optimize safety and productivity
Follow all technical, quality and safety instructions provided by project lead hands or other supervisors
Monitor, train and mentor junior apprentices/shophands in trade skills, techniques, and technical knowledge
Assist with QA inspection, testing, documentation, and recordkeeping as requested
Conduct all dealings with Sabre personnel, clients, or suppliers in a respectful and professional manner
Comply with the policies, processes and procedures of Sabre's QMS and HSE Programs
Assist Production Manager as requested with performance evaluation of junior apprentices
Equipment supplied by Employee: Appropriate tools of the trade, CSA-certified footwear, indoor/outdoor work clothing for all seasons
Equipment supplied by Employer: Hardhat, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, specialized PPE, specialized tools and equipment as required

Pay: $22.28-$46.00 per hour
