Machine Operator
Job Summary:
As a Machine Operator at BRENLO Custom Wood Mouldings & Doors, you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating machinery to fabricate high-quality wood products. You will be responsible for ensuring precision, quality, and efficiency in the manufacturing of custom profiles and wood mouldings.
Duties:
- Check daily work schedule, prioritize rush orders, and set up machinery accordingly.
- Retrieve necessary tools and adjust cutting specifications as needed.
- Review work order requirements, conduct test runs, and ensure cutting quality meets standards.
- Request materials from the warehouse and inspect for quality before feeding them into the machinery.
- Monitor the production process, identify and remove any defects, and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Keep track of production quantities, ensure accuracy in product matching with order paperwork.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
Experience:
- Proficiency in operating machinery such as milling machines and CNC equipment.
- Familiarity with tools like calipers, SolidWorks, and basic math skills for precise measurements.
- Experience in programming machinery and conducting quality control checks.
- Ability to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is advantageous.
