Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Prep Cook/Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Support the serving staff by ensuring timely delivery of prepared dishes
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations during food handling and preparation processes
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations is a plus
- Experience in meal preparation, serving, or working in the food industry demonstrates a strong foundation for this role
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
