Project Controls Manager would be responsible for the support to our Joint Ventured CanAtom Project. He/Shewill work to support improvements to standardize, implement, train and oversee execution of all project controls processes and systems (payroll time collection for trades and field non-manual, billing, etc.) across the project. He/She will supervise Project Control personnel and ensures that all Project Control activities (project estimating, risk, cost and schedule management) comply with all company standards and contractual requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the successful implementation and execution of the Project Controls Plan, including:

Manage the planning, scheduling, cost control, estimating, document control, accounting and coordination staff
Implement a sound planning and schedule management system for the project in line with the requirements of the PCP
Implement a sound cost control system for the project in line with the requirements of the PCP
Implement a sound change management system for the project, in line with the requirements of the PCP
Accountable for the accuracy of the schedule, timeliness of updates and schedule reporting
Accountable for the accuracy of cost projections, timeliness of change control, and reporting
Oversee the execution of sound accounting practices and processes for the execution phase

University degree in engineering, technology or any other relevant discipline along with a minimum of five years of working experience in Project Controls
Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large and multi-cultural team.
Ability to influence project and proposal direction and decisions.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
Background in Risk, Cost, and/or Project Management would be ideal
