Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Full-Time Barista / Cashier to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, managing customer transactions, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced food industry environment. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to company standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food handling and safety procedures
- Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions regarding products
- Ensure food safety standards are met during food preparation and serving
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper hygiene practices at all times
Skills
- Previous barista experience preferred; knowledge of food preparation and service is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers confidently
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
