Job Summary
We are recruiting for a Senior Millwright for a direct hire opportunity in Barrie, ON. This afternoon shift role is ideal for a certified 433A Millwright with strong post-certification experience supporting complex CNC machinery, robotics, PLC-controlled equipment, and highly automated manufacturing systems.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Millwright who enjoys advanced troubleshooting, precision maintenance, and technical leadership. Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and align advanced CNC machines, robotic systems, PLC-driven equipment, and automated manufacturing machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues to minimize downtime and support production targets.
- Perform preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, machine changeovers, major overhauls, equipment inspections, and root cause analysis.
- Fabricate, weld, machine, and modify precision components using shop equipment such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and welding equipment.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, support safety compliance, update maintenance procedures, and recommend equipment or process improvements.
- Mentor apprentices, junior millwrights, electricians, and machine specialists while collaborating with production, engineering, quality, contractors, and suppliers.

- Afternoon shift: 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Salary range: $96,096 to $97,136 per year.
- Pay rate: $46.20 per hour plus $0.50 afternoon shift premium.
