As part of the opening team, you will play an integral role in shaping the culture, service standards, and guest experience of one of Niagara's premier dining destinations.
Position Summary
Terrain Restaurant is seeking experienced and hospitality-driven Full-Time PM Servers who are passionate about food, wine, and creating unforgettable guest experiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Service Excellence
- Deliver warm, gracious, and personalized service throughout every stage of the guest journey.
- Create memorable dining experiences through genuine engagement and attention to detail.
- Anticipate guest needs and consistently exceed expectations.
- Execute service standards consistent with luxury hospitality and Forbes-level service expectations.
- Confidently guide guests through menus, seasonal offerings, wine selections, and beverage pairings.
- Communicate the story behind our ingredients, producers, culinary philosophy, and wine program.
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency.
- Ensure every guest leaves feeling welcomed, valued, and eager to return.
Food & Beverage Knowledge
- Develop a thorough understanding of all food, wine, cocktail, and beverage offerings.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for seasonality, terroir, and local food and wine culture.
- Provide thoughtful recommendations and pairing suggestions.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Remain knowledgeable about menu changes, features, and special events.
Operational Excellence
- Execute all steps of service according to established standards.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and readiness throughout each shift.
- Accurately enter orders and process payments through POS systems.
- Complete opening, closing, and side work duties with care and attention to detail.
- Collaborate effectively with culinary, bar, hotel, and leadership teams to ensure seamless service execution.
- Participate actively in daily lineups, training sessions, and team meetings.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of serving experience in upscale dining, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, or premium hospitality environments.
- Strong food, wine, and beverage knowledge.
- Previous experience in wine-focused restaurants is considered an asset.
- WSET certification or equivalent wine education is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to bend, reach, carry trays, and perform repetitive service-related tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
