Our client who is a reputable General Contractor across Canada is looking to add a talented Quality Supervisor to join their team in Vancouver.

About The Position
- Develops and implements the Project Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) in alignment with project specifications.
- Actively plans, coordinates, and participates in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) task planning activities alongside construction operations.
- Reviews prime contract and subcontract details for specifications and requirements, identifies quality requirements, and ensures quality activities align with project scope and contractual terms and conditions.
- Liaises with clients' field QA/QC representatives, third-party testing agencies, and trade contractor quality personnel to maintain quality standards throughout the project.
- Performs visual examinations, witnesses inspections and testing, monitors construction activities, and documents results in accordance with project specifications and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Ensures suppliers and vendors adhere to project specifications, including verification of delivered materials.
- Acts as a liaison with craft and staff personnel and the Quality Manager to provide technical assistance and guidance as required.
- Identifies and determines root causes associated with Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and presents findings to the quality and project teams.
- Collects and compiles quality turnover documentation to support project closeout.
- Leads meetings with the quality team as required.
The Requirements
- 3+ years proven experience in quality control and/or the construction industry, including supervisory and leadership experience preferred.
- Craftsperson certificate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Excellent construction inspection skills on a broad range of scopes of work
- Advanced skills with quality computer applications and a solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation
- Salary: $85,000 - $100,000
- Annual discretionary bonus.
