Summary
We are seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in Barrhaven. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing our customers' service experience by providing expert advice and support throughout their vehicle maintenance journey.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed.
- Manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely service delivery.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Stay updated on automotive technology and service offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a dealership environment as a Service Advisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive services and repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Ability to upsell services effectively.
- Familiarity with auto estimating and service writing processes is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is an asset.
- Proficient in using dealership management software.
