Located initially out of our Calgary office, the individual in the Supervisor, Heartland Petrochemical Complex (HPC) Production Accounting role will report to the HPC Business Readiness Director. The position will be responsible for establishing then supervising daily, monthly and annual plant production accounting analysis and measurement reporting.

Key Activities and Responsibilities:
Establish and perform Daily, Monthly and Annual production accounting analysis for the Heartland Petrochemical Complex
Collaborate with measurement, business and operational teams to establish volume collection, analysis and financial integration standards
Work with the Information Technology team to select the Volumetrics tool for HPC, collaborating with the NGL Commercial teams to develop business requirements and guidance for processes and practices
Generate analysis practices for daily anomalies in volumes and compositions along with input for operational commentary to support deviations
Perform monthly efficiency calculations and analysis of data for management reports and operational scorecards
Annual collection, verification, analysis and compilation of environment and commercial reporting volumes
Ensure Adherence to Inter Pipeline’s CSOX compliance directive sand corporate accounting policies
Participate in all production volume audits by corporate, regulatory and industry groups by supplying and explaining data, procedures and reporting
Develop positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Create the HPC production/volume accounting team (hiring on)
Review and update practices, processes and procedures as required

Education, Skills and Experience:
Degree in Business or relevant certification (i.e. CAPPA Production Accounting)
Minimum of 10 years of oil and gas industry experience
Advanced MS Office and Volumetric systems work is required
Ability to develop and sustain positive internal and external relationships
Strong attention to detail and accuracy for all timely and accurate reporting
Excellent communication and presentation skills are required
Capability to set and meet deadlines for self and team in a fast-paced, growth environment
