Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate veterinary team. The ideal candidate will assist veterinarians in providing high-quality care to animals, perform laboratory procedures, and ensure smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments
- Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and document patient information thoroughly
- Monitor anesthesia and recovery of animals post-surgery
- Provide client education on animal health, nutrition, and preventive care
- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments and work areas
- Support kennel duties including feeding, bathing, and monitoring animals’ health status
Skills
- Proven laboratory experience with diagnostic testing procedures
- Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology and protocols
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to handle animals gently and effectively in stressful situations
- Attention to detail in recording medical information accurately
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Pay: $19.33-$35.81 per hour
