Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and driven full time Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business and nurturing existing customer relations. This person will represent the Company, offering product knowledge, pricing, and solutions that meet the customers needs and satisfaction. This position serves the Simcoe-Muskoka region, Gravenhurst, and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contactors, builders, and homeowners to understand their project needs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory.
- Visit job sites and customer locations regularly to provide support, gather information, and offer solutions.
- Prepare quotes, follow up on proposals, and close sales in a timely manner.
- Provide expert product knowledge, pricing and availability to customers.
- Work closely with inside sales, warehouse, and delivery teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Keep up to date with product knowledge, market trends, and competitor offerings.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of building materials, masonry products, and industry practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Self motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule and assigned territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Programs.
- Proficiency with CRM software is an asset.

Experience:
- building material sales: 2 years (preferred)
