Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Valid British Columbia Class 1 Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in heavy towing and recovery operations.
- Operate a heavy-duty tow truck to safely transport heavy vehicles and equipment.
- Perform towing and recovery operations for large vehicles, including tractor-trailers, buses, and construction machinery.
- Secure cargo properly and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition as well as run an eLog.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and communicate effectively with dispatch and management.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed.
- Ability to respond to out of town calls.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
