Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Candidates must be licensed and experienced in delivering personalized massage treatments, demonstrating excellent customer service and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess health history and specific concerns.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and document client progress.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients at all times.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.
- Uphold all licensing requirements and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Promote wellness services and contribute to a positive client experience through effective communication.
- Work as a team with other staff.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health assessments.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to listen attentively and tailor treatments accordingly.
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in client care.
Pay: $60.00-$75.00 per hour
