Marketing Science is a key element of the future evolution of Omnicom Media's offering. We work to connect the media we plan and execute with our client's business outcomes. Establishing that relationship requires data-focused capabilities across 3 areas:

- Action: We define measurement and communicate results
Marketing Science encompasses a wide array of functions but, in general lines, we use data to provide our clients' Marketing teams a significant competitive advantage within their industries.
More specifically, in this role you will:
- Lead a small team of Analysts and draw from wider Data Analytics resources within the organization, including Data Engineering
- Be responsible for delivering hiqh quality performance reporting including developing dashboards or manual reporting templates; collecting and analyzing media performance data; translating observations into insights and insights into recommendations; and presenting recommendations to clients
- Oversee 3rd party measurement partners, including Kantar as well as other added-value BLS partners
- Work with global and regional teams to define accurate requirements/processes to be put in place to standardize operational procedures for data and reporting
- Develop insights and recommendations through direct analysis of data that can be sourced from:
- Media reports from digital channels (cost, impressions, clicks, revenue, etc.)
- Syndicated data (such as Vividata, Environics, ComScore, Nielsen, etc.)
- Client proprietary data sets
- Communicate with clients about media, data operations, measurement, competitive analysis, testing, modeling requirements, and results.
- Design and maintain data visualization solutions using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Datorama/Marketing Cloud Intelligence.
- Managing data integrations and automations from different sources in conjunction with a Data Engineering team.
- Apply taxonomy expertise to ensure consistent and scalable data classification across platforms
- Define what needs to be measured within our clients' media activity (Measurement Framework and Learning Agendas)
- Contribute to test design and setup, including writing proposals and coordinating with internal and external parties.
- Identify new opportunities and help grow our data & analytics roadmap in 2026!
DESIRED Qualifications
As an Associate Director, you have a background in data analysis, statistics, econometrics, performance marketing, digital analytics, media planning/strategy, or something along those lines. You have experience leading analysts and are generally what people would call a "numbers person". You are familiar with media metrics such as cost per click, reach, frequency, return on ad spend, etc.
You have at least 5 years of experience in analytics or media roles. You have a track record of managing data sets and uncovering actionable insights from data, and your friends reach out to you when they have a hard time with an Excel spreadsheet.
You are comfortable and experienced in client-facing roles. You can independently combine distinct datasets, run an analysis/build a cursory ad-hoc model, and present results to clients.
You can build and run a linear regression model in Excel or Python and are able to explain things such as R square, P-value, or regression coefficients to an audience that has no background in statistics. You are very comfortable building pivot tables in Excel or reaching similar outcomes in SQL/Python/R.
You have experience building visualizations in tools such as Tableau/Power BI/Domo. Bonus points if you know Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama).
Finally, you take pride in the quality of your work, yet you remain curious and are never done learning. You work hard to earn and keep client trust, and you don't sacrifice long-term value for short-term results.
