Elmes Packaging is looking for an experienced Thermoforming Setup Technician to join our growing production team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and operating an AMUT-COMI ACF 850 thermoforming machine while ensuring efficient production and high-quality output.
Responsibilities
- Set up and start production runs on an AMUT-COMI ACF 850 thermoforming machine
- Install and change molds, trim tools, and tooling components
- Adjust machine parameters to optimize cycle time and part quality
- Troubleshoot forming, trimming, and stacking issues
- Perform first-off inspections and maintain product quality
- Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety and food manufacturing procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of thermoforming setup experience
- Experience with AMUT-COMI, Illig, Kiefel, GN, or similar thermoforming equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow setup procedures
- Experience with PET, PP, and other thermoforming materials is an asset
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
