Position
Class 3 Roll-Off Truck Driver
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Overtime may be available based on operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 3 roll-off truck to transport scrap metal bins and containers.
- Deliver and pick up roll-off bins at customer locations throughout the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and surrounding areas.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation.
- Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely.
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and yard personnel.
- Maintain the truck in a clean and roadworthy condition.
- Follow all company policies, Alberta traffic laws, and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- Assist with general yard duties when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 Alberta Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract.
- Class 1 Driver's License is considered an asset.
- Previous experience operating small equipment (forklifts, skid steers, loaders, or similar) is preferred.
- Experience operating roll-off trucks or heavy trucks.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, if required.
