Job Title: Painter

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our growing team. The Painter will be responsible for painting apartment units, drywall and plaster repairs, painting common areas in buildings, minor miscellaneous work and assisting our maintenance technicians when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer.
- Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths as required.
- Drywall and plaster repairs on ceilings and walls
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Clean up work areas and dispose of materials properly after project completion.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a painter or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of painting materials, techniques, and surface preparation.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Reliable and responsible
- Positive attitude
- Must have access to a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's licence, as travel to project sites is required. Mileage/gas reimbursement will be provided in accordance with company policy.
Working Conditions:
- Mostly indoor work with exterior work occasionally.
- May be required to work some evenings or weekends depending on the project schedule.
- Frequent standing, bending, and lifting.
- Some heavy lifting at times
- Daily working hours from 9am-5pm
